About Wafer Type Dual Plate Check Valves
Zhongguan specializes in producing dual plate (double disc) check valves with clamps. The structural design of the valve utilizes two spring loaded plates connected to the center dumpling chain pin. When the flow rate decreases, the plate closes under the action of the torsion spring and does not require reverse flow. This design provides a dual advantage of no water hammer and no impact. A double plate check valve consists of two valve discs, which are connected to the valve body through a pin and operated by the action of a spring. When the fluid stops, the spring immediately begins to close the valve. The double plate check valve is used to prevent backflow and also to prevent water hammer.
Design Features & Installation:
- Smaller and lighterin design than conventional check valves and the installation and pipework layoutexpenditure is considerably reduced.
- Can be installed horizontally, with the pins in a verticalposition or vertically with flow in the upwards directionIt is recommended that valves are installed a minimumof ten pipe diameters down stream from a source ofturbulence ie. a pump or elbow.
- The overall length of the body has been reduced to theextent that in the fully open position, the discs extendsinto the downstream pipeline.Therefore allow at leastone pipe diameter downstream before installing valves, pipe bends or tees etc.
- Flow direction indication on the outside of the body

3. How do you control the quality?
In quality control, the most important is to avoid material mixing.
In our factory, 3 Spectro PMI machines are used in the raw material warehouse, production plant, and dispatch plant.
Pressure inspecting machines, PMI machines, RA roughness spectator, hardness testing machines..... all machines help in the inspection.
2 staff inspect during production in different sections
5 staff inspect the finished productions to avoid a shortage, poor quality, mixing chemicals....
4. If there is any quality problem, how do you solve it?
We are very proud that we never make one customer leave us. We are not 100% perfect, there is some quality problem.
Normally replacement, compensation, or resending goods to customers as per the condition. To be discussed as per the condition.
5. How long is your delivery time?
For normal products in 7-10 days; for bulk orders, in 15-25 days. It depends.
6. Warranty time?
3 years warranty for all of our stainless steel products. Gaskets or the easy broken parts are not included due to the different applications for customers.
